The Set Table/ Shulchan Aruch

Many people today long for opportunities for deeper and more meaningful connections with others.  The Set Table/ Shulchan Aruch builds on the ancient and central Jewish concept of hachnassat orchim, hospitality, by bringing people of different backgrounds together to share delicious food, meaningful conversations, and more personal connections with others.  Some gatherings will specifically include people of different faith traditions and explore topics of faith and practice; others will be more “secular” in nature, addressing such topics as gratitude, creativity, endings and beginnings, wise teachers and guides in our lives, and more.  These gatherings will take place in a private home on Shabbat/the Sabbath as well as other days. Gatherings will be held approximately one to two times per month.

At the present time all gatherings are held virtually. No fee.

To sign up for a meal with The Set Table/Shulchan Aruch, please contact Rabbi Weiss at rabbizariweiss@outlook.com or (206) 524-9274.
Morning Minyan

In our busy lives, we often miss the opportunity to connect with others in a more intimate way.  In this morning minyan, held once a week on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 -10:00 a.m., we will draw on the riches of Jewish liturgy and practice as we come together in prayer, meditation, and melody.  We will weave our own experiences of life in and through our time together.

No cost.  Contact Rabbi Weiss (rabbizariweiss@outlook.com or (206) 524-9274) for zoom information.
